It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the batch of B.Ed. students in the neat, clean and green setting of J.k.College of Education. I have a Great honour for teaching profession. Dr.Radha Krishanan's following quote inspires me;

Where do we find such Teachers ? Educationists suggest ; quality teachers can be prepared only by Teacher Education Institutions, Which follow the highest professional standards and work at an optimum level of efficiency. I vow to create such a quality Teacher Educational Institution.Be prepared to work hard, the college has round the clock programme to create in its students virtues,values and life skills. For academic accomplishments our motto is, Learn, Learn and Learn.A big library with sufficient number of books and variety of magazines and periodicals are there to enrich your knowledge. Besides you will come in contact with sincere and hard-working teachers who have indomitable perseverance towards attaining the horizons of success. To display your talent in sports, a big playground with all the facilities of indoor and outdoor games; including a swimming pool along with the services of the coaches will be available.
Regarding cultural activities, every week in one form or other there is a cultural event in the college, besides knowledge lectures and seminars by renowned educationist, philosophers, philanthropists and environmentalists. It will provide you so many activities that you will forget your home town.

As we embark an yet another journey of academic excellence in the new session, 2010-2011 we are filled with new hopes, aspirations and a burning desire to excel in every field of activity that we undertake in pursuit of quality education and all round development of our teachers of tomorrow.
Our predecessors have set very high standards and objectives for us to emulate. As we approach the task ahead, it will be our endeavour to not only match their levels of achievements but surpass these and take our institution to a new level of excellence.The faculty and students are doing their best to attain academic excellence and professional enrichment.
This is amply demonstrated in the numerous achievements and activities organized in the first three months of the current session.I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the staff and the students for the excellent work put in by them in academic as well as in co-curricular activities.
We would like to see our alumni as harbingers of qualitative changes in academic fields in their places of work.
